*Obituary
PERRYTON - Gary Neal Scroggs, 63, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2010.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Victory Family Church with the Rev. Marlon Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Hansford Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
Mr. Scroggs was born Dec. 2, 1947, in Perryton to Winfield and Grace Scroggs. He had a commercial art degree and invented barbed wire gate openers.
Survivors include a son, Scott Davis of Humble; a daughter, Toni Earle of Humble; a stepson, Steven Drake of Perryton; three brothers, Wilford Scroggs and Burl Scroggs, both of Dumas, and Dale Scroggs of Stinnett; three sisters, Vera Longly of Elizabeth, Colo., Cheryl McSorley of Littleton, Colo., and Sue Staggs of Waka; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be to Giddeons, P.O. Box. 254, Perryton, TX 79070; or a favorite charity.
