LAST RITES HELD FOR W. F. PLOCEK HERE SATURDAY

Funeral services were held 9:50 a. m. Saturday at St. Monica's Catholic Church for Walter F. Plocek, 63 who died in Veteran's Hospital in Temple last Thursday.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Alfred Kallus, assistant pastor at St. Monica's. Interment followed at St. Monica's Cemetery.
Rosary was recited Thursday and Friday night. Members of the Knights of Columbus directed Rosary services Thursday.
A retired businessman, Plocek had lived in Cameron for the past 35 years after retiring a year ago. He was a veteran of World War I, member of the American Legion, the Knights of Columbus and the Sons of Herman.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Minnie Plocek, Cameron; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Williams, Houston, Mrs. Grace De Freest, Rensallier, N. Y., Mrs. Frances Lankford, Corpus Christi, and Mrs. Florence Williams, Cameron; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Fox, Corpus Christi, and Mrs. Ernest Rock, Pearsall.
Also surviving are: six brothers, Bill of Rosebud, Arnold of Burlington, George of Bishop, and Herman, Roy and Melvin Plocek, all of Cotulla; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Emil Boedeker, Lincoln Mondrik, Rudolph Ricter, John C. Andres, Will Michaika and Albert Matula.
