Donnie Bybee LOCKNEY - Funeral services for Donnie Bybee, 76, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church of Lockney. Masonic graveside services will be held in Lockney Cemetery. Arrangements are by Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Lockney. Mr. Bybee died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at Mangold Memorial Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. He was born Dec. 24, 1930, in Lockney to Delbert and Lois Baker Bybee. He married Vera Jo Rogers on Jan. 20, 1950. He farmed in Floyd County for 45 years and after retiring worked for the U.S. Post Office for 16 years. He most recently worked for the Lockney Cemetery Association. Survivors include his wife; one son and daughter-in-law, Louie and Cynthia Bybee of the Providence community; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Dara and Gary Faries of Plano and Becky and Steve McPherson of Lockney; four sisters, Loree of Plano, Betty Lou of Lake Whitney, Freda of Dallas and Patsy of Tennessee; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. His parents; one sister, Mary Ann Shouse; and three brothers, Archie Bybee, Wayne Bybee and Billy Baker Bybee, are deceased. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
