Ruby Madge Groves Taylor Dooley , a resident of Jackson, died Monday in an area nursing facility. She was 89.
A native of Texas, Mrs. Dooley formerly lived in Porterville, Calif., where she had been a member of Westminster Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Madge Alyne T. Becton of Grove Hill, Ala., Laura Ernestine T. Uhlmeyer of Porterville, and Kewpie T. Duncan of Aspermont, Texas; four sons, Elbert Ned Taylor of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Curtis Taylor of El Paso, Texas, and Tillman Taylor and W.H. Taylor, both of Carlsbad, N.M.; two sisters, Avis Dooley of Arlington, Texas, and Hattie Tee Tomlinson of Lubbock, Texas; two brothers, Algie Groves of Quanah, Texas, and Dick Groves of San Antonio; 23 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at Dunn Cemetery in Dunn, Texas. Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson is handling arrangements.
