Mary "Nena" Salas, 71 of Lubbock passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019. She was born March 18, 1947 to Ignacio and Ramona (Saucedo) Rubio in San Antonio, Texas. Mary married Aurelio Salas, Sr. She was a member of Colgate Bilingual Church of Christ. Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Aurelio Salas, Jr. and wife Lucee, and Mike Salas; siblings, Emilio Rubio and wife Delia, Lucy Amador and husband Louis; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Aurelio, Sr; parents, Ignacio and Ramona; brothers, Domingo Rubio, Juan Rubio, Antonio Rubio; and sister, Bertha Mora.
