A visitation for family and friends of Ruth Almodoba Archuleta, age 35 of Seminole, Texas will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Boyer Funeral Home from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later time. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Archuleta was born January 17, 1982 in Amherst, Texas to Angelica (Almodoba) and Baldomero P. Luna. She married Mark Archuleta in Seminole, Texas on June 2, 2007 and was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista Church. She had worked for Urenco USA for nine years and was a hard-working woman who planned everything to perfection. Ruth drew people to her due to her personality and big heart. She loved music, playing the guitar, and singing; she was also an avid fan of "Shark Week" and football. She loved all her family and friends; they were the most important part of her life. She was there for everyone no matter what situation or circumstance. She had a special spot for her son, Jackson, and loved attending his sporting events and all other aspects of his life. Jackson was truly the jewel in her crown. Jackson loved for his mom to sing to him.
Ruth Archuleta passed away at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas Thursday, May 18, 2017. She is preceded in death by two grandmothers, Andrea Espinoza, and Antonia L. Archuleta; one cousin, Irene Luna; one brother, Manuel Luna, Jr.; two uncles, Pete Ramos, and Manuel Luna, Sr; two aunts, Josephina Luna, and Manuela Luna. She is survived by her husband, Mark Archuleta of Seminole, Texas; one son, Jackson Archuleta of Seminole, Texas; her parents, Baldomero Luna and wife Angelica of Seminole, Texas; two brothers; and one sister.
