Mrs. Tommie I. Malone, 82, od Cameron, died Monday in a local hospital following a long illness. Born March 14, 1900, Mrs. Malone was a housewife. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Walter Malone and her daughter, Mazie McLerran.
Funeral services were held at 1 p. m. Tuesday in the chapel of Green Funeral Home in Cameron, with Rev. Jim McPhail officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Surviving are three sons, Hardie Malone of Crosby, Walter Malone of Cameron, and George (Butch) Malone of Minerva; seven daughters, Jane Young, Cleo Derrett and Peggy Tucker, all of Baytown, Dorothy Shoaf of Liberty, Nell Ciriello of Temple, Johnnie White and Frances Dodson, both of Cameron; her sister, Brady Nunn of San Antonio; 29 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
