MRS. LOU FULLER IS BURIED AT NORTH ELM

Funeral services for Mrs. Lou Goodnight Fuller were held Wednesday at the North Elm Baptist church with interment in the North Elm cemetery at 3 p. m. Wednesday, Feb. 19th.
Mrs. Fuller was a native of Milam County and would have been 80 years of age on July 30th. She was born in 1861.
In 1880 she was married to J. R. Fuller who preceded her in death on July 10, 1930.
Thus has the life of another of our pioneers come to an end. They were of the generation of people who laid the foundation for our present civilization and on Wednesday when she was buried many who had known her through the years came to pay their tribute.
Mrs. Fuller was a decendant of the famous Goodnight family. The best known of these pioneers was Charles Goodnight who saw his first service as a cattle man near Jones Prairie before the Civil War. He later moved West to the Panhandle and there became famous for his ownership and operation of the famous Goodnight ranch.
Rev. Johnnie Cole of Waco, pastor of the church, conducted the service assisted by Rev. P. L. Caperton of Cameron.
There were born to Mr. and Mrs. Fuller seven children, six of whom survive as follows: Mrs. B. G. Rice, J. M. Fuller, Mrs. Claude Sproull, Mrs. R. F. Hurry, Mrs. Cecil Stevens, and S. R. Fuller. In addition there are thirty-five grand children and fourteen great grand children of the immediate family.
Two brothers, Charles Goodnight of Waco and Henry Goodnight of Del Rio and one sister, Mrs. A. J. Bird of Dublin survive.
Mrs. Fuller had been a devout member of the Baptist Church for many years becoming a member at the age of thirteen.
