COLORADO CITY (RNS) ~~ Mrs. W.C. Wood, 83, of Hermleigh, died at 6:45 p.m. Friday in Root Memorial Hospital in Colorado City.
Mrs. Wood was born August 11, 1882 in Hunt County and moved to Hermleigh in 1904. She married in 1907 and Mr. Wood died in 1944.
She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral arrangements will be announced from Kiker and Son Funeral Home in Colorado City.
She is survived by two sons, Virgil of Hermleigh and Jim of Colorado City; three daughters, Mrs. A.R. Thompson of Hermleigh, Mrs. Edward Brown of Colorado City and Mrs. Russell Dunn of Loraine; three brothers, Horace Marshall of Eunice, Louisiana, Ross Marshall of Loraine and Rufus Marshall of Colorado City; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren
