MRS. EFFIE MAE SHAVERS
TAYLOR - Mrs. Effie Mae Shavers, 74, a native of Milam County and a former Thorndale resident, died Monday evening.
Mrs. Shavers resided at 1805 Travis Heights Blvd. in Austin.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Geneva Vessels of Austin; one sister, Mrs. Ann Cast of Temple; and three grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor. Rev. Thomas Walden will officiate. Burial will be in Locklin Cemetery near Thorndale.
