Funeral services for Elizabeth Neustaeter, age 72 of Seminole, Texas will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Reinlander Mennonite Church at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Henry Reimer officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Neustaeter was born in Mexico December 22, 1947 to Katarina (Reimer) and Gerhard Friesen. She married Pete Neustaeter in Mexico on June 25, 1967. She was a member of Reinlander Mennonite Church and a homemaker, as well as a co-owner of EP Fabrics with her husband Pete. Elizabeth loved quilting, baking, and flowers.
Elizabeth Neustaeter passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Peter Neustaeter; and one daughter. She is survived by two sons, Gerhard Neustaeter and wife Katharina, and Peter Neustaeter and wife Helena of Seminole, Texas; seven brothers, Heinrich Friesen and wife Margarita of Canada, Gerhard Friesen of Seminole, Texas, Isaac Friesen and wife Tina of Canada, Abram Friesen and wife Maria of Bolivia, Peter Friesen and wife Tina of Canada, Johan Friesen and wife Justina of Mexico, and Jacob Friesen and wife Maria of Canada; four sisters, Helena Thiessen of Bolivia, Katharina Neufeld and husband Klaas of Bolivia, Eva Wiebe and husband Bernhard of Mexico, and Susanna Elias and husband Gerhard of Canada; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. www.boyerfuneralhome.net
