*Obituary

A prominent Stinnett man, George W. Cunningham, 66, died of an apparent heart attack Saturday in Gunnison, Colo., where he was attending the annual fishing expedition of the Stinnett Kiwanis Club members.

Cunningham died at 6:25 p.m. (MDT) at J. Bar Horseshoe Ranch near Gunnison.

Cunningham was a former employee of Phillips Petroleum Company, working as night superintendent before his retirement about a year ago.

Active in civic affairs, Cunningham had served as Chamber of Commerce president. He was an active member of Stinnett Kiwanis Club.

Among the survivors are his wife, Ruth, 321 Stewart; daughter, Mrs. Bill Norman, of Borger.

Funeral services are pending with Ed Brown and Sons, Funeral Directors.
