BORGER, Nov. 17 - Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Dawson, 81, formerly of Lubbock, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church of Stinnett with the Rev. Luther Griffin officiating.
Mrs. Dawson died at 3 a.m. Wednesday in Panhandle Convalescent Home. She had lived in Lubbock 42 years before her recent move to Panhandle.
Survivors include three sons, J.T. of Dumas, C.H. of Stinnett and Sam of Cody, Wyo.; five sisters, Mrs. Joe Record of Stinnett, Mrs. Emma Pilot of Dalhart, Mrs. Lilly King of Chillicothe, Mrs. Mary Cone of Dalhart and Mrs. Sally Seymour of New Mexico; three brothers, J.T. Jasper and W.D. Jasper of Stinnett and D.L. Jasper of Williamsburg, N.M.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Funeral Home of Borger.
