Funeral services for Ferrill B. Early, 57, of 832 Davis, Stinnett, will held at 3 p.m. Monday in Stinnett High School auditorium with Dr. Thomas Constable, pastor of the Plano, Tex., Bible Chapel, and the Rev. Mert Cooper, pastor of the Stinnett Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment in Sunset Memorial Park of Stinnett will be under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
Early had been a resident of Stinnett since 1926. He was a charter member of the Stinnett Methodist Church, member of the Plemons Masonic Lodge 877 and the VFW Post 1789 of Borger. He died at 7 p.m. Friday at the High Plains Baptist Hospital, Amarillo.
He is survived by his wife, LaVerne of the Home; daughter, Miss Jo Sharon Early, Plano.; son, John Rogers, New Orleans La.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Early, San Antonio; three brothers, Norvill of Perris, Calif.; Thomas of Houston, and Cleland of Lufkin, Tex.; sister, Mrs. Jack Robison of San Antonio; five grandchildren.
Casket bearers include, John Harris, Ed Williams, Clarence Wright, Vernon Bryan, Austell Burrus, Bill Willmann, N.C. Jeffries, and Merrick Seaborne.
Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Winsett, Edward Dorsey, Harl Reese, J.K. Mills, Joe Morino, Richard Hagelstein, W.B. Wade, Alson Williams, Dayton Barkley, A.L. Cogburn, Hugo Riemer, and members of the 84th Infantry Division Railsplitter Society.
Memorials may be made to the Emphysema Research Fund at the First National Bank of Stinnett.

LaVerne Ownbey Early, 72, 3739 E. 64th Place, Tulsa, Okla., died Tuesday morning in St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.A housewife, she was a native of Hutchinson County and a Stinnett resident for her lifetime prior to moving to Tulsa five years ago.She was a member of Faith Covenant Church in Borger.Survivors include one son, John Rogers, Overland Park, Kan.; one daughter, Jo Sharon Thornton, Tulsa; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.Mrs. Early was preceeded in death by her husband, Ferrill B.
