Mrs. Winnie Rodgers, a Collingsworth County resident for 24 years, died in St. Joseph's Hospital at 3:15 Saturday morning, December 14. She had been in ill health for about five years and seriously ill since Thursday.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Needham of Wellington.
Born at Dallas April 30, 1900, Mrs. Rodgers was 46 years, 7 months and 13 days of age. She came to Collingsworth County with her family and lived at Quail until about 9 years ago, when they moved to Wellington.
Mrs. Rodgers was a member of the Methodist Church, having joined in childhood.
Mrs. Rodgers is survived by a daughter, Ruth Helen Rodgers, age 11, Wellington; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Needham of Wellington; three brothers and two sisters, C.S. Needham, Walter Needham and Levi Needham of Wellington, Mrs. Sam Gibson of Chula Vista, CA, and Mrs. Dell Pollock of Greenfield, OH.
