LINVILLE, Va. - Belva Lee Hazel, 67, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 1997 in Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wed., Oct. 22, at the Kyger & Trobaugh Funeral Home in Harrisonburg, Va., with pastor Bill Gearhart, officiating.
A native of Shattuck, Okla., she had been a resident of Linville, Va. since 1984 moving there from Tucson, Ariz.
She was a member of the World of Life Ministries where she was involved with children's ministries. She was a manager for the Seven-Eleven convenience stores for Southland Corp. and was a self-employed trainer of thoroughbred horses for many years.
Survivors include her husband, William Melvin Hazel of Tucson, Ariz.; two daughters, Ann Lowe of Linville, Va. and Vickie Hicks of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Marilyn Fahnert of Amarillo and Kaye McCall of Stinnett; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the Rockingham Memorial Hospital, Hospice Unit, 235 Cantrell Ave., Harrisonburg, Va. 22801.
