Tom Johnson, 75, a retired cattleman who lived five miles northwest of Borger, died at 3 a.m. today in Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.
Funeral services are pending with Alexander Funeral Directors.
A native of Montague County, Mr. Johnson had lived in the Borger area for 36 years. He was a member of the Gateway Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Evia; a son, Elmer who lives five miles northwest of Borger; a brother, Sam of Jacksboro; a sister, Mrs. Annvaline Spencer of Jacksboro; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
