STINNETT - Funeral services for O. Howard Pierce, 75, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Victory Baptist Church, will the Rev. Clyde Morrill, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Stinnett Sunset Memorial Cemetery by Alexander Funeral Directors here.
Mr. Pierce died Sunday at 2:30 a.m.
He was born in Cisco. He was a retired farmer and had been a Stinnett resident for six years.
Survivors include his wife, Bess; to sons, LeRoy of Wilcox, Ariz.; and I.V. Pierce of Spearman; a stepson, Skip Walker of Stinnett; a brother, Herbert Pierce of Littlefield; four sisters, Mrs. Lela King of Spokane, Wash., Mrs. Clara Henderson of Lubbock, Mrs. Cecil Woodard of Artesia, N.M., and Mrs. Bobbie Strawn of Spearman; and six grandchildren.

QUITMAN, Ark. - Hilda Bess Pierce, 74, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001
Services were held the following Saturday at 10 a.m. in Herber Springs, Ark., at the Olmstead Chapel.
Mrs. Pierce was born Dec. 7, 1927, in Breckenridge and was a long-time resident of Stinnett. She moved to Guy, Ark. in 1985. She married Cal Connell in 1994.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Pierce in 1983; her father, William Truman Smith of Stinnett; two sisters, Nadine Hazel and Corine Cook of Roanoke and one brother, Floyd Smith.
Survivors include her husband, Cal Connell of Quitman, Ark.; one son, Skip Walker, of Stinnett; one daughter, Marsha Chumsky of Las Vegas, N.M.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
