STINNETT - Services for Marion Franklin "Red" Price, 69, of 415 Stewart, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Victory Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Hughes, pastor of the New Testament Baptist Church in Borger officiating, assisted by the Rev. Bill Hill, pastor.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery by Alexander Funeral Directors of Stinnett.

Mr. Price died at 3:30 a.m. Friday in his home.

A native of Ravia, Okla., he had been a Stinnett Resident for 35 years. He was a farmer-rancher and worked for the Rock Island Railroad for 10 years until he retired. He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death [sic] by a son, Cecil J. Price, in 1970.

Survivors include his wife, Goldie; one son, Martin R. Price of Monahans; four daughters, Mrs. Pat Farley, Mrs. Kay Grandstaff, and Mrs. Janise Williams, all of Stinnett and Mrs. Barbara Barrow of Skellytown; two brothers: Orbie L. "Joe" Price and E.C. Price, both of Stinnett; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Wooldridge of Stinnett; Mrs. Idella Bosnek of Grandbury, and Mrs. Bobbie Jean Cain of Mansfield; 23 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials to be made to the Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Foundation. Contributions can be made at the First National Bank of Stinnett.

Goldie Mae Price, 77, Borger, died at 2:05 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, 1992 in her home.

Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Mammoth Springs, Ark.; she had been an area resident for 52 years. She was a housewife, and a Methodist.

She was a member of Golden Spread Grandmothers, Magic Plains Art Council, and Golden Plains Home Demonstration Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, M.F. "Red" Price in 1982; a son, C.J. Price in 1970; two grandsons, Benny Farley in 1980, and Dale Hooper in 1971, and a brother, Cecil Whiteside in 1987.

Survivors include a son, Martin Price of Monahans; four daughters, Pat Farley of Stinnett; Barbara Barrow of Eunice, N.M., Kay LaJune Grandstaff of Borger; Janise Edwards of Ryan, Okla.; a brother, Ray Whiteside of Sacramento, Calif.; 24 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
