Dessie Mae Pulliam, 78, of 205 North Main in Stinnett died at 2:45 p.m., June 19 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.

A former cook and homemaker, she was a native of Tennessee and a Borger resident for 47 years.

She was a Baptist and had moved to the Borger area in 1940 moving from Mangum, Okla.

She married E.A. "Pete" Pulliam in Childress in 1961.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Billy Holland, First Christian Church, officiating.

Burial will be under the direction of Alexander-Morton Funeral Directors in Stinnett.

Her body will lie in state Sunday from 12 noon to 8 p.m. at Alexander-Morton Funeral Chapel in Stinnett.

She is survived by her husband, E.A. "Pete" Pulliam of the home; three daughters, Pat Plemmons of Pampa, Joy Gibson and Peggy, both of Dallas; one sister, Mildred of Dallas; three grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
