Elena Rodriguez, 84, of Stinnett, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009 at her home.
Elena Rangel Rodriguez was born Tuesday, August 17, 1924, in Benjamin, Texas, to Jose and Paula Rangel. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Rangel was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include five sons, Jesus Rangel and wife Rosa of Stinnett, Celilio Rodriguez of San Jose, Calif., Angel Rodriguez of Juarez, Mexico, Juan Rodriguez of Borger and Martin Acosta of Borger; three brothers Fausto Rangel of Juarez, Mexico, Juan Rangel of Borger and Thomas Rangel of El Paso; one sister Carlota Rangel Garcia of Delicias, Mexico; twenty-four grandchildren and forty-three great-grandchildren.
Casket Bearers will be Jesus Rangel, George Rangel, Luis Rangel, Jessie Rangel, Angel Rodriguez and Rafa Rodriguez.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Borger. Burial will follow at Stinnett Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.
