STINNETT - Funeral services for Mrs. Essie Celeste Sessions, 86, of 610 Williams will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church here.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

Mrs. Sessions died at 7:40 p.m. Sunday in North Plains Hospital.

She was born Apr. 17, 1888 in Corsicana and had been a resident of Hutchinson County for the past 55 years. She lived on a ranch in the area before moving to Stinnett in 1938.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Hutchinson County Pioneers. She was the oldest lady member to attend their last annual meeting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed, in 1950.

Survivors include four sons, Jack of Oklahoma City, Okla., Robert of Stinnett, Carl of Stroud, Okla. and Roy B. of Canadian; three daughters, Mrs. C.L. Hedgecoke, Mrs. Erline Mars and Mrs. Ruth Box, all of Stinnett; two brothers, Pope Gossett of Hereford and Jewel Gossett of Dimmitt; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
