STINNETT - H.W. "Woody" Wood, 62, 225 S. McKenzie, died this morning at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.

Services are pending with Alexander Funeral Directors of Stinnett.

Mr. Wood was an electrician at the Phillips Refinery.

He was a WW II Army veteran, and a member of American Legion and Veteran of Foreign Wars posts. Mr. Wood was a member of First United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death in 1980 by his wife, Pearlee.

He is survived by three sons, Curtis, Duane and Darrell, all of Stinnett; his mother, Mrs. Josephine Schorzsman [sic] of Olton; one brother, Edgar of Wichita Falls; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Lee Poe of Elkhart, Kan.; and three grandchildren.

STINNETT - Mrs. Pearlee Wood, 56, of 225 South Mackenzie, died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in North Plains Hospital.

Services are pending with Alexander Funeral Directors in Stinnett.

A native of Hominy, Okla., she had been a Stinnett resident for 27 years. She was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 27 years, and as a switchboard operator for Sands Restaurant. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Stinnett.

Survivors include her husband, Howard; three sons, Curtis, Duane and Darrell, all of Stinnett; four brother, Lloyd Hutchens of Rangley, Colo., Paul Hutchens of Rock Springs, Wy., Hubert Hutchens of Raulston, Okla., and Herbert Hutchens of Fairfax, Okla.; one step-brother, Rain Miller of Hominy, Okla.; two sisters, Wanda Keith of Skiatook, Okla., and Yuvonne Hayworth of Burbank, Okla.; and three grandchildren.
