Albert W. Abel Sr., 66, of Buckholts, died Thursday in a Cameron hospital of an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Saturday in the chapel of Green Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Eugene Kotrola officiating. Burial was in the Corinth Cemetery near Buckholts.
Mr. Abel was a retired employee of Milam County and was a member of the Buckholts Brethren Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Evelyn Abel of Buckholts; a son, Albert Abel Jr. of Engelside; a daughter, Mrs. Dotty Coufal of Cameron; two brothers, Henry Abel of Houston and Adolph Abel of Temple; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Kurtz of Cameron and Mrs. Emma Miller of Houston and three grandchildren.
