STINNETT - Charles R. Strother, 80, died Sunday, March 13, 2005.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Stinnett Cemetery with Glenn Reece, interim pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Strother was born April 1, 1924, in Clarksburg, W.Va. He married Georgia Shinn on Feb. 24, 1949, in Stinnett.
Survivors include four daughters, Janiece Moore of Fort Davis, Dianne Reger of Georgetown, and Sandra Strother and Linda Harmon, both of Amarillo; a brother, Paul Strother of Nederland; a sister, Margaret Williams of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

STINNETT - Georgia Shinn Strother, 76, died Friday, Oct. 15, in her home.
Services are pending with Brown Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Strother was a native of Mangum, Okla., and Stinnett resident for 60 years. She married Charles Strother on Feb. 24, 1949.
She worked with the United State Postal Service as a Postal Clerk.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stinnett.
Mrs. Strother was preceded in death by a sister, Layla Kenney.
Survivors include her husband, Charles, of the home; four daughters, Janiece J. Moore of Fort Davis, Dianne J. Sparks of Gruver, Sandra J. Strother of Amarillo and Linda S. Harmon of Sunray; four sisters, Nina Williams of Newalla, Okla., Leslie Kenney of Amarillo, Tien Merrick of Sayre, Okla. and Jean Mixon of Colorado Springs, Colo.; eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to BSA Hospice, 200 NW Seventh, Amarillo, 79109.
