STINNETT - Elmer Leroy Weber, 60, of 927 Clark, died Saturday morning at his home.

Services are pending with Simpson Funeral Home of Stinnett.

A resident of Stinnett for the past 14 years, Mr. Weber was born May 30, 1916, in Luray, Kan. He came to Stinnett from Odessa.

He was a World War II veteran, a member of the Iron Workers Union and a member of the Victory Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Vinita; three sons, Jerry D. of Borger, Dale Leroy of Grandview and Michael Wayne of Ft. Sheridan, Ill.; three daughters, Mrs. Nancy Hill of Odessa, Mrs. Patty Ann Sparks of Spearman, and Cindy Weber of the home; his mother, Mrs. Edith Wallace of Augusta, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Joyce Hughes of Houston and Miss Marjorie Weber of Winfield, Kan.; and seven grandchildren.

Vinita "Nita" Weber, 75, of Amarillo, died Friday, Oct. 30, 1998.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett with Dan Powers, pastor of Northside Assembly of God Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road.

Mrs. Weber was born in Carmen, Okla., and had lived in Amarillo since 1983, moving from Stinnett. She had worked as a legal secretary for many years and as a cook. She was a charter member of Golden Spread Grandmothers Club of Stinnett and a member of Northside Assembly of God Church.

She married Elmer L. Weber in 1942 in Nevada, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1977.

Survivors include three sons, Jerry Weber of Borger, Dale Weber of Amarillo and Mike Weber of Stinnett; three daughters, Nancy Weber-Hill of Odessa and Patty Sursa and Cindy Goforth, both of Amarillo; two sisters, Ama Russell of Enid, Okla., and Velma Turner of Altamont, Kan.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center or the Don & Sybil Harrington Cancer Center.
