SPEARMAN - Joe M. Close, 61, died Thursday, April 10, 2003.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Holt Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.
Mr. Close was born in Perryton on Oct. 9, 1941. He was a master mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Betty-Glee; two sons, Roger Close of Spearman and Danny Close of Borger; two sisters, Elnora Batson of Stinnett and Anita Harris of Colorado; and four grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to the American Heart Association or Cal Farley Boys Ranch.
