Funeral services for Maria “Cuca” Refugia Grado, 92, of Seminole will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole.
“Cuca” passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020 in Seminole.
“Cuca” was born July 12, 1928 in Terlingua to Issac and Guadalupe Zavala Espino. She married Jose B. Grado December 19, 1948 in Ojinaga, Mexico. Cuca was a homemaker and of Christian faith. She loved her children and all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cuca loved cooking and doing yard work around her house especially her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jose B. Grado, daughter Maria Bradley and two sons Enrique and Ramon Grado, five brothers Celestino Sr., Jose, Benito, Bonifacio and Gregorio Espino and two sisters Tasha Martinez and Manuela De La Cruz.
Cuca is survived by three sons Ruben, Johnny and Sammy Grado, one daughter Lupe Villalva and one brother Jose Angel Espino all of Seminole. Also, two grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. www.seminolesentinel.com
