*Obituary
SPEARMAN - (Special) - Funeral services for Rev. A.F. Loftin 77, who died of cancer at Hansford Hospital yesterday were held at 2 p.m., Monday at the Spearman Baptist Church.

Rev. O.L. Bryant, pastor, officiated, assisted by Rev. Norman Sanders of Cuero, Rev. D.D. Moore of Borger and Rev. R.L. Cooksey of Blackwell.

Rev. Loftin had been a Baptist minister since 1900. His last pastorate was at Estelline, where he retired in 1945. Since 1950 he had made his home at Spearman.

Survivors include: Mrs. Hazel Loftin of the home; a son, Paul Loftin of Spearman; two daughters, Mrs. R.L. Cooksey of Blackwell and Mrs. Fred Holt of Spearman; a brother, A.R. Loftin of Hattiesburg, Miss.; and a sister, Mrs. Sara Whitsett of Foley.

Masonic burial rites were conducted at the graveside in Holt Cemetery south of Spearman.
