*Obituary
CORTEZ, Colo. - Bernice Catherine Davis, 85, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, in Mancos.
Memorial services in Texas are pending. Arrangements are by Ertel Funeral Home. Mrs. Davis was born in McKinney, Texas. She had lived in Cortez since 1974. She was an active member of T.O.P.S.
She married Henry Thomas Davis in 1933 at Guymon, Okla. He died in 1950.
Survivors include two sons, Lynn Davis of Morse, Texas and Bob Davis of Waco, Texas; two daughters, Shirley Nechero of Gallup, N.M., and Hazel Gallavan of Cortez; two brothers, Cleo Searcy of Amarillo and L.H. Searcy of Fort Worth, Texas; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
