BORGER NEWS HERALD - September 30, 1949

Mrs. Ruth Forester, 66-year-old long time Borger resident, died at the Amarillo Osteopathic hospital Sept. 26.

She had only recently moved to Amarillo and resided at 807 Sunset St. there.

Survivors include her husband, H. W. Forester; three daughters Grace Irene Tomkins, San Francisco, Arneeta Womble of Stinnett, Mary Belle White of Amarillo. Three sons, Ralph Forester, Canyon; Woodrow Forester of Amarillo; and Frederick Forester of Stinnett. Fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Forester was a member of the Baptist church.

Funeral services were held Sept 28 in the Pringle schoolhouse at Pringle. Interment was in the Lieb cemetery.
