Alvie Earl Henderson, 53, of Morse and resident of Hutchinson County since 1909, died last night in an Amarillo Hospital.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Laverne Henderson; two sons, Earl and Darrell Henderson, all of Morse. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. J.M. Henderson of Morse; two brothers, Tom Henderson of Stinnett and L.C. Henderson of Pringle; five sisters, Mrs. Jack Magee of Chilicothe, Mrs. Griffith Hardin of Wheeler, Mrs. J.V. Mills of Dumas, Mrs. Tom Mills of Dumas, and Mrs. Roy McNutt of Morse.

The body is resting at the Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.

Funeral services for Alvie Earl Henderson, 53-year-old well known North Plains rancher, who died Sunday night in an Amarillo hospital, will be held at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow in the First Methodist Church at Morse.

Henderson was a member of the board of stewards of the Methodist Church and a member of the school board. He had extensive ranch and farm holdings around Morse and was well known over the Panhandle area.

He is survived by his wife, three children, and his mother, all of Morse. Also surviving are two brothers and five sisters.
