Obituary for Preston
DODD CITY - Preston Henderson, 79, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Westlawn Cemetery with Masonic Rites by Billy Dixon of Lodge No. 1369. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Henderson was born in Clarendon and was a longtime resident of Fritch before moving to Dodd City in 1989. He was main machine operator for Natural Gas Pipeline and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Mr. Henderson was an ex-prisoner of war.

He was preceded in death by a son, Clifford Henderson.

Survivors include a son, Marvin Henderson of Stinnett; two daughters, Mignon Hudson of Bridgeport and Jacque Henderson of Dodd City; a stepson, Ray Kellogg of Fritch; a stepdaughter, Ellen Simmons of Bedford; two sisters, Lita Henschel of Helenville, Wis., and Daisy Coulter of Eugene, Ore.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
