Raymond Jarvis, 80, of 411 N. Hedgecoke died Thursday at North Plains Hospital.
Services have tentatively been set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Leib Cemetery near Pringle.
Mr. Jarvis had lived in the Borger area since 1903. He was born Sept. 25, 1898 in Denton County.
He was a farmer. Mr. Jarvis was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Spearman. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are four sons, Tom of Stinnett, Ralph of Lubbock, John Vermillion and C.A. Vermillion, both of Virginia; two daughters, Mrs. Peggy Moss of Salt Lake City, Utah and Miss Kayla Vermillion of Borger; two brothers, Billy of Stinnett and Woodville of Spearman; and two grandchildren.
