SPEARMAN, July 9 - Funeral services for Mrs. Amelia Minerva Lackey, 96, of 419 Bernice, Spearman, were to be held at 3 p.m. today in the First Methodist Church in Spearman with the Rev. Luther Berry of the First Baptist Church, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Walde Griffin, pastor of the church.
Burial will follow in Lieb Cemetery under the direction of Boxwells of Spearman.
Mrs. Lackey died at 11 p.m. Saturday at her home.
She was born Aug. 19, 1865, in Dalton, Ga.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. W.A. Terry of Spearman, Mrs. W.E. Dillon of Spearman, Mrs. E.D. Sheets of Clayton and Mrs. Ora Martin of Amarillo; two sons, M.W. Lackey of Spearman and John F. Lackey of Sunray; 20 grandchildren and35 great-grandchildren.
