STINNETT - Clarence Curtis "Red" Marable, 78, died Sunday, June 19, 2005, in Spearman.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Stinnett United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brian Adams, pastor, and the Rev. Dan R. White officiating. Burial will be in Lieb Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Marable was born June 28, 1926, in Hutchinson County to Ida Parks Thompson and Joseph Howell Marable. He married Jean Stewart on Dec. 21, 1957.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Deana Richards of Burkburnett and Ann Pipkin of Spearman; a granddaughter; and four stepgrandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, 600 S.W. 11th Ave., Amarillo, TX 79101 or to a favorite charity.

BURKBURNETT - Ruby Jean Marable, 77, died Saturday, June 14, 2008, in Wichita Falls.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church in Stinnett with the Rev. Don Pellikan and the Rev. Rhonda Greenwood officiating. Burial will be in Lieb Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors of Stinnett.

Jean was born Nov. 8, 1930, in Moore County on her family farm, to Archie and Maggie Stewart. On Dec. 21, 1957, she married Curtis "Red" Marable in Dumas.

She spent the rest of her life in Moore and Hutchinson County. She retired from Diamond Shamrock-Valero. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Desk and Derick Club, where she held many offices and received many awards for her service.

She was preceded in death by her husband on June 19, 2005; two brothers, I.H. "Bo" Stewart and wife Mary, and Archie Stewart and wife Martha of Dallas; a sister Deana Young and husband Coy; a nephew, Jay Stewart of Dumas; three nieces, Jean McDowell, Carolyn Carr of Lake Oswego, Ore., and Tracy Hayhurst of Amarillo.

Survivors include two daughters, Deana Richards and husband Robert of Burkburnett and Ann Pipkin and husband Vernon of Spearman; a granddaughter, Maggie Jean Pipkin; four stepgrandchildren, Chad Richards of Burkburnett, Cody Pipkin and wife Abby of Spearman, Mika Gumfory and husband Garrett of Eastland and Holly Kaluza and husband Nick of Dallas; and seven step-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Lane Anderson, Rooster Dawson, Nick Kaluza, Cody Pipkin, Buddy Pool and Robin Wilson.

The family suggests memorials be to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1192, Stinnett, TX 79083; or a charity of your choice.

She will lie in state at Brown Memorial Chapel in Stinnett.
