Funeral services for Shannon "Tinker" Newman, 22, Borger, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Danny Trussell officiating.

Burial will be in Lieb Cemetery in Morse by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Newman died Saturday, March 14, 1992 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.

A native of Dumas, she moved to Morse with her parents, attended Morse and Phillips Schools, before moving to Borger in 1981, where she attended Borger Schools, and received an associates degree from Frank Phillips College.

She was disabled and was non-denominational.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles William Yeary, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moss, and a sister, Ramona Evonne Moss in 1977.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Newman of Borger; a son, Clinton William Yeary Newman of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Moss of Borger; a brother, Cecil Edward of Austin; a sister, Darlene Brooner of Borger; and grandmother, Mrs. Jane Mitchell of Spearman.

Pallbearers will be Jayson Harstead, Colby Yeary, Joe Ramon, Glen Havron, John Scroggins, and David Fenner.

The family will be staying at 518 Missouri.
