Mable Irene Parks, 87, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, July 24, 2001.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church in Morse with the Rev. Mike Martin, pastor, and the Rev. F.M. Byford, senior minister at Paramount Baptist Church in Amarillo, officiating. Burial will be in Lieb Cemetery in Morse by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Parks was a member of Paramount Baptist Church in Amarillo. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Uptergrove of Spearman and Beverly Pool of Morse; two foster sons, J.W. Swink of Houston and Kenneth Swink of Hugo, Okla.; three sisters, Ardith Maxwell of Arizona, Pauline Bland of Casper, Wyo., and Joan Bergner of Lancaster, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
