Ella Virginia Parks, 96, 308 S. Third, Morse, died at 7:04 p.m. Wednesday in Hansford County Hospital in Spearman.

She was born in Pike County, Ark., and moved to Texas in 1895. She came to Hutchinson County in 1905.

She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Florence Moore of Dallas; a son, H.B. Parks of Morse; two sisters, Bertha Forester and Clara Hull of Spearman; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bailey Parks in 1930 and a daughter, Virgie Mae Cambern and granddaughter, Barbara Cashion.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Pringle School Auditorium with Elder T.J. Pitman, Primitive Baptist Church, Borger, officiating.

Burial will be in Lieb Cemetery, Morse, under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Memorials may be made to the Lieb Cemetery Association in care of Dean Lieb, Route 1, Box 23, Stinnett, or to a favorite charity.

Funeral Services for Ella Virginia Parks, 96, 308 S. Third, Morse, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Morse High School Auditorium with Elder T.J. Pitman, pastor, Primitive Baptist Church of Borger officiating.

Burial will be in Lieb Cemetery with local arrangements by Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Casket bearers will be Wade Parks, Lynn Parks, Larry Thompson, Walter Graves, Dean Lieb and David Graves.

Parks died at 7:04 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 1988 in Hansford County Hospital in Spearman.

Memorials may be made to the Lieb Cemetery Association in care of Dean Lieb, Rt. 1, Box 23, Stinnett, or to a favorite charity.
