Funeral services for William L. Watters, 89, of Amarillo, pioneer Panhandle rancher and are resident for 64 years will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Pringle Elementary School gymnasium.

Burial in Lieb Cemetery will be directed by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home of Amarillo.

Watters moved to the Panhandle in 1906 and began ranching north of Stinnett. He and Mrs. Watters were married in the Lieb commmunity Jan. 30, 1910, and ranched and farmed near Stinnett until 1929 when he retired and they moved to Amarillo. They resided at 410 Fairmont, in Amarillo.

Mr. Watters died Sunday afternoon at High Plains Baptist Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Callie; two daughters, Mrs. S.G. Culp, of Amarillo, Mrs. Lee Richardson of Stinnett; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services for Mrs. Callie Elizabeth Watters, 84, of 410 Fairmont, an Amarillo resident since 1929, will be at 2 p.m. today in the Pringle (Tex.) School.

Officiating will be Elder Marvin C. Jeffries of the Primitive Baptist Church in Amarillo. Burial will be in Leib Cemetery in Pringle by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors of Amarillo.

Mrs. Watters died Saturday at Northwest Texas Hospital.

Survivors include two daughters, two brothers, four sisters, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
