William M. Yake, 83, an Amarillo resident since 1935, died at 6:05 p.m. Monday in Thurman's Convalescent Home.
Mr. Yake, a retired rancher, lived at 905 N. Polk.
He was born March 8, 1875, in Missouri.
Surviving are two brothers, Henry Yake of Alanreed and Albert Yake of Stinnett, and two sisters, Miss Rosepha Yake of Tucumcari, N.M., and Mrs. Samantha Walker of Lockney.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by N.S. Griggs and Sons.
