BOERNE - Helen L. Alexander, 87, died Friday, Oct. 29, in Boerne, Texas.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. David Purl, pastor of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Good Shepherd in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Alexander was a native of Sylvan Grove, Kan, and a longtime resident of Borger moving to Boerne in 1966. She married W.G. Alexander in 1960 at Panhandle.
She taught in elementary schools in Borger before retiring. She was a member of the National Retired Teacher Association and Home Extension Club.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Borger and Boerne.
Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her husband in 1965.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law; two grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.
