BORGER - Jack Harris Allen, 84, died Sunday, June 9, 2002.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Roger A. Harwerth, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery in Borger.

Mr. Allen was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corps. He was a retired materials clerk for Phillips Petroleum Co.

Survivors include his wife, Frances; three daughters, Susan Followwill of Borger, Linda Putman of Amarillo and Charlotte Rodgers of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

BORGER — Juanita Frances Burr Allen, 93, died Monday, June 13, 2011.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Johnny Robertson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Allen was born Dec. 1, 1917, in Bronson to Timothy and Mary Frances Freeland Burr. She married Jack Harris Allen on May 19, 1941, in Austin.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda Putman of Amarillo, Susan Followwill of Borger and Charlotte Rogers of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Dorothy Holland of San Antonio and Hulene Storm of Freemont; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
