Funeral services for Helen Bernice Barger, 41, Borger resident since 1930, are at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Charles Broadhurst, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park, directed by Ed Brown & Sons, Funeral Directors.
Casketbearers are Rodney Weddington, Devoe Davis, Cotton Davis, J.B. Hunt, Harold Tennyson, Glenn Hopper.
Mrs. Barger died Thursday at North Plains Hospital. She was a former employee of Hill Chemical Co., and several years ago was employed as secretary by J.C. Phillips, editor and manager of the Borger News-Herald.
She was active in the Women's Division of the Chamber of Commerce, and a member of First Baptist Church.
Surviving are the husband, Don, and son, Eddie of 311 Baylor; daughter, Mrs. Kathy Jones of Dallas; parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.E. House of Borger; sister, Mrs. Bill Hawkins of Houston.
