Obituary
STINNETT - Francis Delwood "Chipper" Bolin II, 57, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in The Garden of Hope at Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Chipper was born May 31, 1950, in Denison to Lou and F.D. Bolin. He was raised in Borger and graduated from Borger High Shcool in 1968. He married the love of his life, Claudine Tedford on Jan. 30, 1970, in Kingsville.
He was an independent oil and gas producer in the Carrizo Springs area for many years before moving back to Stinnett. Chipper loved the rodeo and began riding at a very young age. He traveled all over to make that eight second ride on bulls and broncs. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, teaching them about rodeo and taking them fishing.He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Claudine; a son, Deryl Bolin of Burleson; two daughters, Lana Bolin of Burleson and Laura Sisneros and husband Raymond of Borger; seven grandchildren, Lance Eakins of Burleson, Cody Bolin, Britney Bolin, Richie Eakins, Michael Evans and Brandon Eakins, all of Borger, and Courtney Bolin of New Braunfels; his best buddy, Shasha, "man's best friend"; and many family members who love and will miss him very much.
The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner St., Pampa, TX 79065.
Casket bearers will be Michael Evans, Lance Eakins, Brandon Eakins, Cody Bolin, Deryl Bolin and Leroy McMurtry.
Honorary casket bearer will be Richie Eakins.
The family will be at No. 1 Linkshire in Borger.
