Loyce O. Box, 80, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 1996 in Borger.

Funeral services will be at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Andy Dietz, youth minister of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in the Garden of Love at Westlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Hollis, Okla., Mr. Box was a long-time resident of Borger. He was a retired mechanic for Bob Cooper Pontiac. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a past Exalted Ruler of the Elks.

Mr. Box married Faye Mullins in Borger on July 2, 1938. She preceded him in death in 1981.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Box of Weatherford and Don Box of Castle Rock, Colo.; two brothers, Duane Box of Pampa and Loel Box of Howardwick; two sisters, Marie Oden of Borger and Elaine Oden of Abilene; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
