Rev. James Huse Leapt into the arms of his Savior as he went to greet his heavenly father on May 25,2020. James Morris Huse was born on Sept 24,1928 in Rockwall Texas to James E Huse and Addie Morris Huse. He was also raised by his second mother Maurine Huse.

He was a Pastor at the First Indian Baptist Church in Albuquerque, Mescalero Baptist Mission and Pilgrims Way Baptist Church in Sanger. He was married to Florence Jean Matteson in 1950 until her death in 1966. They had 6 children. He then married Joan Alice Urch in 1968 and they had 2 children and adopted 3 children. They also were foster parents for over 200 children.

James was preceded in death by his parents James, Addie and Maureen, his first wife Florence Jean Huse, His second Wife Joan Alice Urch Huse , his sister Anna and 2 grandkids. He is survived by his brother Bill, his children Jeanie and spouse Gary, Shirley, Linda, Carol and spouse David, Judy, Cynthia, Jonalis, Marilyn and spouse Kerry, Ellen and spouse David, Marie and son Arvin Ray, 18 grandkids and 25 great grandkids.

A visitation for James will be held from 5:30 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at Coker Funeral Home in Sanger. Funeral services will be at 2 pm on Friday, May 29, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Sanger. Rev. Walt Grunwald will officiate the services. James’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Nicolas Yates, Jeremy Sipes, Jarod Couch, Michael Samford, Joseph Huse, James Wall, Billy Mykel, and Sam Mykel.
