*Obituary
Sibyl L. Clanton, 66, Borger, died Friday, Jan. 19, 1990, at St. Anthony's Hospice in Amarillo.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Robert Smith, pastor officiating.
Arrangements were by Schooler-Gordon Bell Avenue Chapel in Amarillo.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Clanton was born in Okfuskee, Okla., and had lived in Borger since 1942. She was a secretary for 21 years with J.M. Huber Corp. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Borger.
She married Howard Clanton Sept. 25, 1975 in Pampa and they resided in Borger.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ray Rounsaville in 1962, and Gene Evans in 1967.
Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons, Ron Rounsaville of Stauanger [sic], Norway; and Jamie Rousanvillle [sic] of Wimberly; two stepsons, Buster Clayton of Garland; and Gary Clanton of Dallas; a sister, Nada Alexander of Amarillo; three grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to the Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center.
