FRITCH - Funeral services for Cy Cozart, 72, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kim Poole, pastor, officiating.
Masonic graveside rites will be by Billy Dixon Masonic Lodge No. 1369. Burial will be in Westlawn Park Cemetery by Alexander Funeral Directors.
Mr. Cozart died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in North Plains Hospital.
Mr. Cozart was born in Smithfield, W.Va. He married Hazel Larson in 1931 in Greeley, Colo. They moved to Fritch in 1962 from Model, Colo. He worked for Colorado Interstate Gas Co. for 45 years. He was the plant superintendent at the Sanford Station when he retired in 1972. He was a charter member of the Fritch Kiwanis Club, and a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 95 in Pueblo, Colo., the First Christian Church of Pueblo and the Eastern Star No. 34 in Pueblo.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Wayne of Denver, Hugh of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Cy Jr. of Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. Darlene Hamlin of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Sharon Nathans of Houston; three brothers, Harold of Mt. Pleasant, Mich., Willard of Mason, Mich., and Allen of Suffield, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Syphers of Bristol, Conn. and Mrs. Olive Solomon of Tucson, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Pat Crawford, Raymond Howell, Paul Walker, Don Webb, Bill Shelly, and Frank Lakner. Honorary pallbearers will be Tuffy Hill, Fred Riecke, Buster Hodges, and employees of Colorado Int. Gas Co.
