Mercedes Michelle Cummings, 7-days-old infant, died Thursday, March 19, 1992 in Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.

Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Saturday at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Gillmore, pastor of Riverview Baptist Church, and the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial was by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Survivors include her parents, David and Jessica Cummings of Borger; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Cummings of Borger; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Nugent of Borger; great-grandparents, Mrs. Thelma Cummings of Borger; Robert Nugent, Sr., of Arcade, N.Y.; Vernon Baker of Franklinville, N.Y.; Gladys Baker of Salamanca, N.Y.; and Jewell Willis of Borger; and great-great-grandmother, Jewel Cummings of Mesquite.
